We had jalousie windows before and now my air conditioner isn't running quite as bad. Other than that, the windows are definitely a big improvement just for the soundproof. But I wrote there that they were polite and nice. ‘Cause how do I know NewSouth is even gonna see that. I should have said, “No, I'm not filling this out” because I was disgusted with him. The other thing was that they wanted me to fill out a paper that he's going to take on how well of a job they did in front of him. All that time, he knew we wanted the pieces left up. I knew he was mad because he wanted to be out of there by noon and the job took longer than he thought. And then he took the pieces completely off and the parts out in the yard like he didn't care. I said, “Do you have that piece?” And he said, "No". But he popped the thing off, and lost parts to the piece that goes in the laundry room. So, they had to work around the pieces so I could put the blind back. All this time, I've kept the window treatment for my blinds there. We couldn't move the freezer ourselves so he was gonna have to move the freezer in order to put up the last window. I had to scrape it off with a knife.Īlso, the main guy had an attitude. But when he went to do the caulking around the door they didn't cover things up and they got some caulking on one of my favorite jackets. We also had to get a new door so the tech covered up my stuff that was hanging. The biggest thing was they had this caulking stuff that they had to put in. They didn't get here 'til almost 10:00 on the first day. But they misjudged what time they could be here. The installation crew was very nice and polite.

And I haven't heard any update on if they ordered it or if it's coming. It's bowing a bit, kind of goofy half moon thing. Also, they have to reorder a window for me. Whereas, if NewSouth offered this option, I can buy all of it through them because I just bought these gorgeous windows, and I don't want to put blinds on them, but I need something.
So, I'm trying to coordinate with the solar screen company and Shane with NewSouth to buy raw frame assembly pieces so I can ship it to the solar screen place. It makes me realize we probably need to figure out some kind of offering for this because a lot of clients want solar screens, but we don't offer them." And they won't work with the solar screen companies to coordinate it. You're not the first customer who's asked for solar screen, but you're the only customer I've had who's put in this many hours of work to try and make this happen. One of the conversations when I was talking to Shane about my solar screen was, "You're working so hard to try and find a workaround for this. I'm still working with NewSouth on trying to find a solution because my solar screen company will put the solar screens in a NewSouth windows frame because there's a frame slot for the picture windows. And the solar screens offer just enough privacy to where I don't need the shades, blinds, or curtains. When we bought these beautiful picture windows, we didn't want to put blinds up. We had solar screens before we put in the NewSouth windows and Shane had told me that they don't do solar screens.
